AUTOMESS TELETECTOR PROBE 6150AD-T FOR 6150AD

NDT Equipment Sales

Description

The Teletector Probe 6150AD-T is a portable PTB approved probe for the Dose Rate Meter 6150AD to measure photon radiation (gamma and X-radiation).  Two GM counting tubes placed at the telescope’s end serve as detectors covering a very wide dosed rate range.  The low range tube is placed behind the window in front of the tube housing and can also detect beta radiation.  When switching ranges, the 6150AD automatically also switches between the two counting tubes.  Power supply comes from the 6150 basic meter through the short probe cable fixed at the Teletector Probe.

The stainless steel telescope can be continuously extended up to approximately four metres.  This allows the distance to be increased to the radiation source, thereby reducing exposure.  Furthermore, it helps to measure in places difficult to reach.  As long as the key above the probe’s handle is kept depressed, the 6150AD operates with its internal tube.  This allows radiation conditions at the operator’s premises to be checked temporarily.

The probe is available for either the classical quantity Hx or the more modern H*(10).  The latter version is given the extension «/H» to its type name.
