The Groundhog Autonomous Reality Capture

The operator maps out the initial layout using direct control methods and sets the robot’s waypoints. Once the mission begins, the Groundhog navigates to each waypoint, going around obstacles as necessary. While navigating to the waypoints, it dynamically remaps the area so the operator can add or edit waypoints without having to “rewalk” the area.
